Reviews
Management of ratings and comments from event attendees
What are reviews?
Reviews are ratings that customers leave after attending an event. They include a numerical rating (1–5 stars) and an optional comment. As a manager you can see all reviews for your events, respond to them, and moderate any that are inappropriate.
How does a customer leave a review?
Any customer with a reservation to the event can leave a review, regardless of whether they attended or not. The process happens from the app or landing page:
General View
The Reviews section shows all ratings received on the events you manage. For each review you see:
- Customer name
- Rated event
- Score (stars)
- Written comment
- Status (active / inactive)
- Publication date
- Team responses (if any)
You can filter by event or status to quickly find what you need.
Rating Summary per Event
Each event has a rating summary that shows the average score and total reviews received. This average is visible on the public event page and forms part of the reputation of the API Access the event is linked to.
Responding to a Review
You can publish an official response to any review. The response is linked to that rating and is visible to the public.
Steps:
- Open the review you want to respond to.
- Write your response in the comment field.
- Save. The response is published immediately.
Activating or Deactivating a Review
If a review contains inappropriate content or incorrect information, you can deactivate it. When deactivated it is no longer visible to the public, but still exists in the system and can be reactivated at any time.
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Activate | The review is publicly visible on the event |
| Deactivate | The review is hidden from public users |
You can also activate or deactivate individual comments within a review without affecting the numerical rating.
Deactivating a review does not delete it from the system. The record remains and can be reactivated at any time.
